Flynn Rivers Smyth
Level 10
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
With 24,000 chips in the middle, Jamie Flynn checked from the small blind on a board of K♥2♥K♣4♣. Daniel Smyth followed suit from under the gun and the 8♦ river rolled off.
Flynn then fired a small bet of 6,000, which Smyth quickly called. Flynn turned over 8♥8♣ for a rivered full house, after which Smyth frustratedly revealed his K♠J♥ for flopped trips.
Flynn chipped up to three starting stacks while Smyth was left with less than ten big blinds.
