Fitzgerald and Nicolcioiu Split the Profit
Level 1
: Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
Patrick Fitzgerald checked from the small blind on a board of 4♥2♦K♠8♦. Dragos Nicolcioiu followed suit from the big blind before Sarbjit Kular bet 1,000 into the pot of 3,000 from the button.
Both players called and the 2♣ river completed the board. All three players then knuckled the table, leading Fitzgerald to show K♦3♦ for two pair. Nicolcioiu tabled K♣6♣ for the same hand, and Kular mucked his cards.
The dealer placed Fitzgerald cards face-down, but Nicolcioiu was attentive enough to let her know that the eight kicker on the board played, and the pot was chopped accordingly.
