Bennett Spikes River to Double Through Mullen
Level 24
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Action folded to Mark Bennett in the small blind who called.
Joseph Mullen was in the big blind and after a short period of thought moved all in, slightly covering Bennett. Bennett made the quick call.
Mark Bennett: A♥K♦
Joseph Mullen: Q♥10♣
Bennett had laid the trap with ace-king but the 10♦9♥2♥ flop meant he was behind Mullen's pair of tens. Bennett was closer to the exit after the 5♣ turn but the K♥ rolled off on the river to give him the double-up.
