Shane O'Connell open-raised from under the gun and Kieran Lynch defended the big blind. The 5♣4♦10♠ flop was then checked by Lynch before O'Connell made a bet of 125,000. Lynch clicked it back to 250,000 and O'Connell called.
On the subsequent 9♣ turn, Lynch fired 375,000 more than half his stack. O'Connell put in the rest as well, and Lynch let out a few expletives before mucking his cards.
During the next hand, he would double back up to roughly 14 big blinds to stay in contention.
