Spain's Sergio Aido has fond memories of playing poker in London having completely smashed the opposition back in March.
Aido's amazing run began with a victory in the PokerStars UKIPT London Main Event for £144,555. He then finished second in a £1,000 turbo side event for an additional £20,000 before finishing 70th in the EPT London Main Event for £9,500. Aido was not done there, he continued his one man wrecking spree of London by coming second in the £2,000 No Limit Hold'em Six-Max event for a score of £26,460.
Watch out for him going deep in this special tournament.

There was a multi-way contested pot over on Table 4 where Ross Murphy had open-limped under the gun, Freddy Deeb and Michael Tureniec called from the next two seats over, Steven Csepreghi called on the button and Stephane Gerin spoiled the party by raising to 2,200 from the small blind. Amazingly, everyone called, including Enrico Buzzanka in the big blind.

flop saw the first three players check. Freddy Deeb took a 4,000 chip stab at the pot and to everyone's surprise, the active players folded.
As the dealer pushed the pot in Deeb's direction he gave us a wink and a wry smile.

It is not only the action that is heating up in the tournament area, the temperature has started to soar too.
The large plastic, inflatable tents combined with a couple of hundred players and the fact the sun in blaring down on everything here at Wembley is seeing the mercury rise. The heat could become a major factor later on today, whoever manages to deal with scorching temperatures will have an advantage here in the ISPT Main Event.
Players continue to flock to Wembley Stadium to buy in directly to the ISPT Wembley Main Event, some of who are listed below.
Many of the direct buy-ins are being seated on the same tables at each other, which has caused more than a few grumbles from them. With the players being so deep stacked it is unlikely many tables will break during the early stages of this event so they will just have to grin and bear it for now.

Until a couple of nights ago, Barry Price was this tournament's overall chip leader with 183,800 chips but was overtaken by France's Juen Alban. Price has just edged back in front after taking some chips from Mathew Frankland.
Price open-limped from early position and two seat to his left was Mathew Frankland who checked his hole cards before raising to 700. The action passed back around to Price and he re-raised to 2,200 in total. Frankland called and the dealer spread the ![]()

flop.
Price continued with a 3,100 bet, which priced Frankland out of the hand, leaving Price to scoop the pot.

It's incredibly odd to be covering a poker tournament on the hallowed pitch at Wembley. Not least because it takes an age to get from the pitch to the press room (we're fairly high amongst the heavens here) but having never covered anything like this it makes this experience truly unique.
How many people play is dependent on the live buy-ins, there are roughly 500 live and online qualifiers so we're expecting runner numbers could be anything really between 600 and 800, but that is just an estimate on our behalf.
With €1,000,000 up for grabs for the eventual winner, the ISPT has attracted some big names to its Day 2a. Take a look at some of the marquee players we have spotted in the crowd so far today.
