Jachtmann Bets Gleissner Off a Chop
Level 21
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Jan-Peter Jachtmann raised to 125,000 in the hijack with A♠K♠8♠7♦ and Bernd Gleissner defended K♥J♥J♦8♦ in the big blind.
Both players checked the 10♦9♦8♣ flop before Jachtmann bet 250,000 on the J♠ turn. Gleissner called and the 7♥ river gave both players the same straight.
Gleissner checked again and Jachtmann this time bet 450,000. Gleissner gave the decision some thought but eventually mucked his hand.
