Anton Suarez raised to 100,000 on the button before Viacheslav Osipov three-bet to 300,000 in the small blind. Suarez called and they went heads-up to the 3♥7♠8♠ flop.
Osipov bet 600,000, Suarez moved all in, and Osipov called for his last 885,000.
Viacheslav Osipov: 10♣8♣7♦6♦
Anton Suarez: K♠9♣5♠3♣
Osipov had flopped two pair, but Suarez took the lead on the 3♦ turn with trips. The river came the K♣ and Suarez improved to a full house to send the start-of-day chip leader to the rail in 12th place.
Quan Zhou raised to 135,000 under the gun and Anton Suarez called in early position. Omar Eljach then called all in from the big blind.
The flop came 4♥6♥8♥ and Suarez bet 100,000, forcing out Zhou.
Omar Eljach: A♣8♠3♠3♦
Anton Suarez: A♠Q♣8♣7♥
Both players had a pair of eights but Suarez was ahead with his ace-kicker. The board ran out K♥8♦ and Eljach didn't improve further to hit the rail in 14th place.
Bernd Gleissner limped in before Hossein Ensan raised to 125,000 in the hijack. Jan-Peter Jachtmann, in the small blind, then reraised to 435,000 and Ensan called.
The flop came Q♣6♠A♥ and Jachtmann continued for 265,000. Ensan then announced a raise, Jachtmann quickly moved all in, and Ensan called for 1,200,000.
Ensan found himself on the unfortunate end of a massive cooler as he ran right into Jachtmann's top set. The board ran out 2♦3♣ and Ensan went around the table giving his opponents a fist bump before heading for the exit.
Jan-Peter Jachtmann raised to 80,000 and Alex Livingston called in the hijack, as did small blind Hossein Ensan.
The flop came 6♦7♥K♦ and Jachtmann continued for 225,000. Only Livingston called and the A♣ fell on the turn.
Jachtmann then checked and Livingston fired out 500,000. Jachtmann called as the river came the 2♣.
Jachtmann checked again and Livingston came out with a bet of 1,300,000. "Sick spot. Very sick spot," Jachtmann said as he burned through several time banks.
"Maybe we have the same hand," he added before calling. Livingston then turned over K♣K♥4♦3♣ for a set and Jachtmann let out a loud groan as he flashed A♦K♠ before mucking.
