Samuel Albeck limped the J♦8♥8♦6♠ in the small blind and Marco Di Persio checked the Q♠J♥9♣3♠.
Albeck bet the A♠K♣8♠ flop for 85,000 with bottom set, Di Persio called. They checked the 9♠ turn when Di Persio improved.
On the 8♣ river, Albeck made quads and bet 250,000 to send his opponent deep in the tank. Di Persio eventually called to get shown the bad news.
Just before the blinds had gone up, Dorel Eldabach raised to 85,000 on the button and Eran Carmi defended the big blind. They checked the J♣5♣2♣Q♣A♥ board and Eldabach won the pot with K♦10♠9♠5♦ for broadway.
Shortly after that, Seamus Cahill raised to 125,000 on the button and Tomasz Kozub eyeballed his stack size before calling. They checked the Q♠9♠6♦ flop and Kozub bet the pot for 325,000 on the 2♥ turn to force out Cahill.

Eran Carmi raised to 110,000 in the cutoff and Matthew Macioce called in the big blind.
The flop came 4♣8♦Q♦ and Carmi continued for 280,000. Macioce quickly folded.
The next hand, Carmi again raised to 110,000 and Tomasz Kozub called in the cutoff.
Carmi checked the 7♦3♣J♥ flop, then folded when Kozub bet 105,000.
Adolf Buettner limped the Q♥Q♣10♦8♠ and Oswin Ziegelbecker raised the pot to 180,000 with Q♦J♠9♦7♠. It folded back to Buettner who came along to the J♥9♠4♥ flop.
Buettner check-called for 180,000 with the open-ender and picked up another gutshot with the A♣ turn. It checked to Ziegelbecker who fired a second barrel for 600,000 and Buettner instantly folded.
Dorel Eldabach raised to 125,000 in middle position and Eran Carmi called in the cutoff.
Both players checked the 7♦3♦3♥ flop before Eldabach fired out 75,000 on the 4♦ turn.
Carmi called and the river came the 6♠. Eldabach bet bet another 185,000.
As Sebastian Langrock told his tablemates the story of how he won $1 million on the German version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" a decade ago, Carmi went into the tank for several minutes.
He apologized to the table before tossing in a call. Eldabach was reluctant to show his cards but eventually flashed the 4♥. Carmi showed A♠K♥Q♣7♥ for sevens and threes to win the pot.
Marco Di Persio made it 100,000 to go with A♦10♥8♣6♦ and Adolf Buettner called with K♠Q♣9♠8♦, Jakob Madsen in the big blind defended the 7♠6♣5♣3♦.
Di Persio bet the 10♦8♠2♦ flop for 180,000 and Buettner was the only caller as they headed to the K♥ turn. The Italian now checked and Buettner bet 300,000 to receive a very reluctant shove by Di Persio for 1,420,000.
Goran Urumovic raised to 180,000 in the cutoff before Adolf Buettner shoved all in from the small blind. Urumovic called for his last 390,000.

Urumovic needed to improve against Buettner's kings and picked up some outs on the J♥3♠2♥ with a pair of jacks. The 7♣ turn was no help, and neither was the 7♦ river as Urumovic was sent to the rail in 15th place.
Tomasz Kozub raised to 110,000 in the cutoff and Samuel Albeck called on the button. Matthew Macioce potted to 480,000 out of the big blind and earned two folds.
Sebastian Langrock then opened to 100,000 in the cutoff for chip leader Dorel Eldabach to defend the big blind. On a flop of A♣4♣2♣, Eldabach check-called for 75,000 and did so again for 275,000 on the 6♣ turn.
After the 5♣ river, Eldabach checked once more. Langrock bet 575,000 with a single T-5,000 chip behind.
Eldabach called after thirty seconds and mucked when he was shown the A♦K♥K♣9♣ by Langrock.
Joao Estanislau raised to 100,000 with the A♥J♦7♥5♥ on the button and Jakob Madsen called in the big blind with the K♠8♠5♦2♦.
On a flop of A♠6♦4♥, Madsen check-called for85,000 and that brought them to the K♦ turn.
Madsen checked and Estanislau bet the pot for 430,000. That was enough to force out the Dane, who dropped to a short stack.
