Ziegelbecker Hits Quads to Double
Level 26
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Ali Balci limped in from early position, Oswin Ziegelbecker came along on the button, and Dorel Eldabach checked his option.
The flop came J♣8♥3♥ and Ziegelbecker bet 200,000. Eldabach then raised to 900,000 and Balci folded. Ziegelbecker, though, moved all in for 2,200,000 and Eldabach asked for a count before calling.
Oswin Ziegelbecker: K♣J♥J♦8♣
Dorel Eldabach: 4♠3♦3♣2♣
Ziegelbecker had Eldabach crushed with a set of jacks over a set of threes. The J♠ fell on the turn and Ziegelbecker made quads to leave Eldabach drawing dead and paying him off by the time the 2♠ came on the river.
