Start of Day Chip Leader Doesn't Make the Money

Massimiliano Zanasi began the day as chip leader but just found himself all in for his last 225,000 from the small blind on a board of 7♥10♥3♠Q♠ and up against Dorel Eldabach in middle position.

Zanasi had 7♠6♠5♥4♣ a pair of sevens to go with straight and flush draws, while Eldabach showed 10♠10♦8♥7♣ for a set.

The river came the 2♣ and Zanasi missed everything and hit the exit a few spots short of the money.

Macioce Fills Up on Rolli

Fabian Rolli raised to 42,000 in early position and Matthew Macioce called on the button.

The flop came A♥J♦2♥ and Rolli led out for another 100,000. Macioce then moved all in and Rolli called off his last 65,000.

Macioce had hit two pair the lead against Rolli's kings and flush draw. The A♠ fell on the turn and Macioce improved to a full house and left Rolli already drawing dead and heading for the exit by the 10♠ river.

Guerra Hits Quads to Bust Yildirim

Tiyanes Yildirim raised to 30,000 from under the gun and Lautaro Guerra defended the big blind.Both players checked the J♥J♣6♠ flop before Guerra bet the 4♦ turn for 55,000. Yildirim tank-called and had fewer than the size of the pot behind.

Guerra then bet the pot for 188,000 on the J♠ river and Yildirim reluctantly paid it off. Guerra revealed his J♦10♦10♣10♥ for quads and Yildirim briefly flashed pocket kings before heading out of the tournament area.

The same table then also lost Denis Vladimirov as the field was reduced to 47 contenders with 39 of them making the money.

Palatzky Runs Into Zhou's Aces

Urumovic Finds Extra Chips, Still Folds to Yanovski

Vasileios Chatzilazarou was already all in and standing up from his seat as Leonid Yanovski and Goran Urumovic went to the turn on a board of 5♠9♣6♦J♦.

Yanovski bet 35,000 in the hijack and Urumovic called from the big blind. The river came the 6♠ and Yanovski bet another 100,000.

"Nines? Really?," Urumovic said as he tanked for several minutes. He began counting out his remaining stack and found he had less than he thought he had.

Urumovic then found an extra pile of grey 25,000 chips hidden under the rail. "I was like, where are all my chips," he said, then folded as Yanovski turned over Q♣J♠7♥6♣ for a full house.

Chatzilazarou's cards quickly hit the muck and Yanovski took both the main and side pots.

Estanislau Cracks Hinkelmann's Kings

Mustafov Triples, Kronwitter Busts in Massive Three-Way All In

Fahredin Mustafov, Dmitrij Fadeev, and Jonas Kronwitter went three-handed to a flop of 2♣J♥6♦ when Mustafov moved all in for around 95,000 in the big blind, Fadeev reshoved in the small blind, and Kronwitter tanked for several minutes before calling off his last 400,000.

"Wow, wow, wow. Sick spot," tablemate Ryan Oliver said upon seeing the cards. Mustafov was ahead with his pair of queens, Fadeev had a pair of jacks, while Kronwitter had straight draws.

The board ran out A♠2♦ and Mustafov's queens were enough to earn him a triple up. Kronwitter missed his draws and was sent to the rail by Fadeev in the side pot.

"Nice hand, both of you guys. That was massive," Oliver added.

Rehman Eliminated by Oliver

Eljach Forces Everyone Out, Busts Pettas

Angelos Pettas was down to 7,000 and moved all in on a flop of Q♦7♠2♦. Hoss Parhizkar called in the cutoff, as did button Samuel Albeck, before Omar Eljach raised to 55,000 in the big blind.

"Good luck in the 1K," Dominik Paus joked with Pettas, who was already standing up from his seat as both Albeck and Parhizkar called.

The turn came the 5♥ and Eljach bet another 250,000. Parhizkar quickly folded, but Albeck tanked for about a minute before joining him in the muck.

"Let's show two cards at a time," Pettas said as he showed K♦10♦. Eljach turned over K♣Q♣6♠5♦ for two pair and Pettas exposed his J♠9♣.

The river came the 3♣ and Pettas was sent to the rail.
