Baltaci, Polek Bust on the Bubble

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Adam Polek
Adam Polek

The tournament staff attended to a pair of players at risk on the direct bubble, with action on table 60 playing out first.

Firat Baltaci moved all in from under the gun and was called by Philipp Taborsky, in middle position.

Firat Baltaci: 10♣10♠ All in
Philipp Taborsky: 9♣9♥

Baltaci was in great shape on the stone bubble until the dealer revealed the 9♦Q♦8♣ to give Taborsky a set. The 8♦ turn and J♦ river changed nothing, and Baltaci helped burst the bubble.

Meanwhile, at table 602, Adam Polek moved his stack of 122,000 in from middle position and was at risk when Alexandros Michas shoved from the small blind.

Adam Polek: K♠K♣ All in
Alexandros Michas: A♠Q♥

Michas connected with the A♥J♠2♠A♦7♠ runout to make trip aces, cracking Polek's kings to secure another elimination. That left Baltaci and Polek sharing the minimum cash of €2,300, earning €1,150 each.

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Duc Tuan Tran opened to 25,000 in middle position, and GrinderOG three-bet to 70,000 from the hijack. Tran checked the 9♠J♠2♥ flop, and GrinderOG continued for 65,000.

After taking some time, Tran made the call and checked again on the 7♦ turn. GrinderOG moved all in, asking for the rest of Tran's stack on the bubble.

Kallashi Puts the Pressure On

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action was caught in a blind versus blind battle with 100,000 in the middle and the board having been dealt 7♦6♣4♦8♣3♠.

Philipp Voglmayr, in the small blind, checked. Elvis Kallashi, in the big blind, bet 93,000, enough to put Voglmayr all in. With the bubble looming, Voglmayr tanked for some time before making a reluctant fold.

Olaru Ousts Duta

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Guy Goossens opened on the button to 25,000, and Florian Duta moved all in from the small blind. Mircea Olaru then shoved from the big blind, and Goossens took some time before open folding pocket eights.

Florian Duta: A♥5♠ All in
Mircea Olaru: A♦Q♦

Duta looked to be in great shape after the 5♣A♠8♥ flop, where Goosens would have hit a set. The 7♥ turn changed nothing, but the 7♣ river left Olaru's kicker playing with aces and sevens.

Goossens would have filled up, while Duta was sent to the rail short of the bubble.

Tounnouti's Is Buidling a Wall of Chips on the Bubble

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Mourad Tounnouti raised to 30,000 from the button. Han Kuo, in the big blind, three-bet jammed for 150,000. Tounnouti called.

Han Kuo: A♥3♣ All in
Mourad Tounnouti: A♣Q♠

Kou ran into a superior holding and was drawing thin on the 9♣4♠Q♦ flop. Kou was dead on the 8♥ turn and left the tournament floor at the sight of the 4♦ river.
