We caught up with a hand with about 40,000 already in the pot and on the board. Estonia's Silver Nommik checked before he called a bet of 17,000 from Sweden's Carl Christofer Andersson.
Both players checked after the completed the board on the river. Nommik turned over and his opponent said nice hand and knocked the table before mucking his cards.
While 60 players were in the field to start the day, only 59 made it to their seats. Estonia's Stanislav Smeljov is nowhere to be found and the dealer unbagged his chips so he can be blinded and anted off until he shows.
If you are friendly with Smeljov, you can ping him to remind him that his chips are in play regardless of whether he is in his seat.
There are players from eight different nationalities among the 60 players heading into the Day 3 field. One-third of them are local players with 20 players remaining from Estonia. Another 20 players are from Finland including current chip leader Juha Helppi.
There are six players representing Lithuanian including two of the top three players and another six from Sweden.
Welcome to Day 3 of the 2018 OlyBet Kings of Tallinn €1,100 Main Event at the Olympic Park Casino and the Hilton Park Hotel.
The field has been trimmed down from 268 entrants to just 60 to start the day with Finnish poker superstar Juha Helppi leading the way with 316,500. Just behind him are a pair of Lithuanians [Removed:174] (second place - 313,000) and Arunas Garunkstis (third place - 282,000).
Also in the mix are two Team OlyBet pros in Raigo Aasmaa (139,500) and Dmitrijs Meless (131,500). Estonia's Kelly Limonova is fairing a bit better than the two Team OlyBet pros bringing forth a stack of 278,000. Her story will be interesting to watch as she was down to just 4,000 in chips yesterday before winning hand after hand to bring her chip stack up to as high as 380,000.
Seven one-hour blind levels will be played today and festival organizers expect players that bag chips to earn at least a minimum cash of €2,120 with 31 players getting paid. Of course, all eyes are on who will win the trophy and the top prize of €62,000 which will be determined on the final day on Sunday.
