Kaspars Renga

Kaspars Renga was low on chips and seemingly found a good spot to shove his six big blinds with ace-jack suited. However, Chutrov in the big blind called for ace-queen and the board ran all blanks to send Renga to the rail in 15th place for €3,090.

The remaining 14 players are each guaranteed at least €3,590.

Juha Helppi has been on a roller coaster ride today. He is now on the way up after eliminating fellow Finn Jarkko Juhani Suokas.

Helppi opened with {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} before Suokas jammed for under 10 big blinds with {a-}{k-}. Suokas nailed a pair on the {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} flop, however, this also gave Helppi a set. The {9-Clubs} on the turn and the {6-Spades} completed the board to send Suokas to the rail in 16th place for €3,090.

Henri Vaisanen Eliminated in 17th Place (€2,760)

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Henri Vaisanen
Henri Vaisanen

Henri Vaisanen's Main Event run has come to an end. Looking back on Day 2, Vaisanen was unafraid to get his stack in on the bubble and he survived thanks to his pocket aces holding.

This time he got it in with a hand not nearly as good. Arto Antero Lehtonen raised to 46,000 before Vaisanen three-bet jammed to 270,000. Lehtonen called with {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} and was well ahead of the {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} held by his opponent.

Lehtonen was unhappy when his opponent paired the {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop. However, he began celebrating when the {a-Hearts} hit the turn to give him a better pair. The {6-Spades} didn't help either player and Vaisanen was eliminated in 17th place for €2,760.

While Vaisanen was leaving, Lehtonen announced loud enough for everyone to hear that, "Justice was served."

The tournament director paused the action for a moment to redraw players to the final two tables. All players remaining are guaranteed a payout of €3,090.

Mihkel Parn

Mikhel Parn's run started when he won a €22 satellite to the Main Event at OlyBet. His day has just come to an end after he jammed for 280,000 with {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} only to get called by Totti Matias Arosuo with pocket aces.

Parn had some life after two diamonds appeared on the flop. However, the turn and river were unable to give him any help and Parn went to the rail in 18th place for €2,760.

Jussi Mattila Eliminated in 19th Place (€2,430)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Jussi Mattila
Jussi Mattila

Jussi Mattila, who was low on chips, went almost all in for almost 100,000, leaving just a single 5,000 chip in his stack.

[Removed:174], who was on a downswing since the last break called. Both players wanted to showdown, however, this was against the rules since Mattila technically still had chips.

The remaining 5,000 went in on the {k-}{3-}{j-} flop and Mattila turned over {7-}{7-} needing a seven on the turn and river to save his tournament life after his opponent turned over {k-}{k-}.

Half the battle was won for Mattila after a {7-} appeared on the turn. However, he bowed out in 19th place for €2,430 after a {q-} completed the board.

The remaining 18 players are each guaranteed a payout of €2,760 and there will be a redraw when the action is down to 16 players.
