Grinding it Out

After the early fireworks, play has calmed down considerably. In fact, we are seeing very few flops over the last 15 or 20 hands. The majority of the pots are being won with a pre-flop raise or a reraise following that. It is apparent that the players have settled into their chairs and are content to feel each other out for the time being.
