Pino is the New Chip Leader

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Given the relative dearth of action (with an average stack of 17 big blinds, none of the last five players has much of a stack) we were surprised to see a big pot play out between Raul Pino and Kemal Ferri. On a raised flop of {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, Pino had first action and bet 180,000. Ferri quickly called that bet, then called another 180,000 on the {q-Diamonds} turn. When the river fell {3-Hearts}, Pino lowered his bet slightly to 150,000. Ferri quickly called with {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} but couldn't beat Pino's {a-Spades}{7-Spades}.

Pino is up to 2.4 million, while Ferri sinks to 1.4 million.
