Jessica Bedoya Doubles Through Julian Menendez

Julian Menendez opened to 130,000 from the cutoff and after about 90 seconds in the tank, Jessica Bedoya put in her last 195,000 into the pot. Menendez called with {A-Spades}{10-Hearts} and held a slight edge against Bedoya's {Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

The board came down {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} to give Bedoya a pair of sevens to survive.

M & M: Menendez vs. McDonald

Action folded to Stuart McDonald, who has been quite active here on Day 3, and he put in a min-raise to 100,000 from the button. The small blind got out of the way, and after about 40 seconds worth of though, Julian Menendez moved all in for 455,000 total. McDonald wasn't quick to call, but did so nonetheless.

Showdown
Menendez: {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
McDonald: {K-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

We'd like to say this was an exciting hand, but the truth is the board ran out an uneventful {2-Spades}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}. Menendez's ace high held and he doubled to around 900,000.

Jessica Bedoya opened for 150,000 from middle position and watched as Stuart McDonald three-bet all in from the button. The blinds folded, and Bedoya released her hand face up . . . {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}.

Gomez vs. Monsalves

Action folded to Alexis Gomez in the cutoff and he opened for 100,000. Both the button and small blind folded, but Jonathan Monsalves decided to defend from the big. Both players checked the {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop, but when the {4-Clubs} hit the turn, Monsalves led out for 150,000. Gomez responded with a raise to 400,000, which proved enough to get Monsalves off the hand.

McDonald Finds a Lady on the River

Stuart McDonald raised to 80,000 from early position and received a call from Alexis Gomez in the big blind. Both players ended up checking the {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop, as well as the {9-Clubs} turn. When the {Q-Diamonds} appeared on the river, Gomez checked, McDonald bet 95,000, and Gomez called.

McDonald rolled over {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades} for a rivered pair of queens, which was good enough to win the pot.

Monsalves Gets Some Back

Action folded to Stuart McDonald in the small blind and he raised to 120,000, which Jonathan Monsalves called from the big. Both players proceeded to check the {3-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} flop, leading to the {4-Spades} turn. McDonald then check-called a bet of 140,000 before both players checked the {J-Spades} river.

McDonald showed {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, but it was no good against the {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} of Monsalves.
