Amauri Grutka Eliminated in 21st Place (R$9,220)

From the hijack seat, Amauri Grutka raised to 16,000. Felipe Morbiducci called from the small blind and the flop came down {Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. After Morbiducci checked, Grutka bet 21,000. Immediately, Morbiducci announced a raise. He took a few moments and then slid out the amount — 61,000. Grutka came back with a shove for about 175,000 total and Morbiducci snapped.

Grutka: {A-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Morbiducci: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

Grutka was well behind the top pair, top kicker for Morbiducci and needed a lot of help to stay alive. The {5-Hearts} on the turn left him drawing dead before the {3-Spades} completed the board on the river. Morbiducci won the pot and Grutka was eliminated.

While Grutka was making his exit, Daniel Negreanu leaned forward over the table to get a closer, more clearer look at the board and the two hands. "I'm trying to figure out if I really just saw what I saw or if I just way too hungover," he commented with a smile after Grutka left the stage.

"Welcome to Brazil, Daniel," said one of the other players from across the table.
