Van Veen Keeps Cruising

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Kevin van Veen is closing in on the one-million chip mark. He eliminated another opponent moments ago when he put his opponent at risk holding {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. The under-the-gun player open jammed for ten big blinds and Van Veen called it off from the big blind.

He was up against versus {7-}{7-} but the flop immediately brought an ace and the rest was history.

Super Saturday Side Event is Running

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The Super Saturday Side Event is running and it already has 116 players in the tournament. One of the players that entered was Henri 'Buehlero' Buehler. He was very happy that he was seated at the table with Nick 'Bizzo' Jenkins.

Both are on what probably is the loudest table in the room.

Griesbeck Eliminated

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Stefan Griesbeck came from Germany to England for Lex Live 2 without knowing anyone. He watches Lex Veldhuis a lot on Twitch but he rarely chats. He was welcomed in the community with open arms and he managed to get a nice run going in the Main Event but that, unfortunately, ended just now.

Griesbeck jammed under the gun for 280,000 and he was called by the player in the big blind. Griesbeck had {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and he was dominated by {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}.

The {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} runout gave some chop outs, but the {q-Spades} eliminated Griesbeck from the tournament.

Hutchinson Wins From Van der Veen

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Jasper van der Veen raised from the cutoff to 40,000 and he was called by Robert Hutchinson from the big blind. The flop was dealt {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and both players checked.

The turn was the {5-Clubs} and Hutchinson took over the betting initiative with a bet of 65,000. Van der Veen called and the {j-Clubs} completed the board on the river and both players checked quickly.

Hutchinson showed {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for two pair and that won him the pot.
