Day 1a Started
The first of hopefully many Lex Live festivals is about to kick-off with Day 1A of the Main Event in Grand Casino de Namur in Namur, Belgium. The community event organized by Lex Veldhuis, the 2019 Lex Live Namur, will feature a three-day Main Event. The Main Event will feature three regular starting flights and three turbo versions. Day 1A, 1B, and 1C all start at 6 p.m. local time while the turbo versions of every flight start at 10 p.m. local time. There will also be plenty of side events in Namur for the players that were unable to make Day 2 of the tournament.
The tournament will have twelve 30-minute levels on the first day of the tournament with 45-minute levels from Day 2 onwards. Players will start with 50,000 in chips with the first level of the day being 100/100 without an ante. They will use a big blind ante starting at the fourth level of the tournament with 200/400 and a 400 big blind ante.
When asked about the Lex Live Spring Festival, Veldhuis could barely contain his excitement. ''For me, the festival is already a success. People are already bonding and I think an event like this where people meet each other in real life will help with the community feel of my Twitch channel. It's really nice to get to know people throughout this week.''
Many big names will make an appearance in Namur this week as Veldhuis told PokerNews he is expecting Benjamin 'Spraggy' Spragg, Fintan 'EasyWithAces' Hand, Felix 'xflixx' Schneiders, Kalidou Sow, and Twitch sensation Morten 'Zeeth' Ottosen at the event.
Day 1A of the tournament will start at 6 p.m. local time and will last for twelve levels. PokerNews will be on site to report on the tournament from start to finish.

Christopher Straghalis was seen browsing the Lex Veldhuis his discord channel on his phone earlier, but he just played a hundred big blind pot already. The pot didn't go his way as Jean-Pierre Righetti was the one to take it all down.
The board read and there was about 3,000 in the middle already. Straghalis had checked from the small blind and so did Righetti from late position. Moise Alloun sat on the button and he fired a bet of 2,000. He was called by both opponents.
The turn was the and all three players checked. The river was the and Straghalis checked to Righetti who put in a bet of 3,800. Alloun got out of the way, but Straghalis called.
Righetti showed and that was enough to take down the first big pot of the tournament.

Kalidou Sow has been spotted walking through the casino in Namur, but he has yet to make an entrance in the tournament. Sow is most known for his victory in the 2017 PokerStars Champions Praque Main Event victory where he won €675,000. If Sow will play Day 1A is unknown, but he is expected to play the Main Event here this week.
The Lex Live Event in Namur didn't just attract members of his community to the Belgian city. A lot of local players came to the casino to get a taste of the community that Lex Veldhuis has built online. One of the players that is a local and a member of the community is Yannick Grosemans.
Grosemans started the day without any fireworks as he is still sitting on a pretty starting stack of 50,000.
