Steenstra Goes for Value

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Simon 'Mzzlaar' Steenstra went for value when there was 11,000 in the middle and a complete board on the table. The cards were {6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} Steenstra fired a bet of 5,000 when it was checked to him.

Arnaud Dreux had a decision to make and he took his time. He tossed in a chip to call after about a minute and he mucked his cards when Steenstra opened up {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

Steenstra is on his second bullet after busting out halfway through Day 1B yesterday.

Player Out!

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

Some call him the biggest troll there is in Lex Veldhuis' Twitch Channel. The person behind the online handle 'Job Trekpop' announced before the tournament had started that he would go all-in every hand for the first orbit or until he doubled up.

He was in the big blind and the under-the-gun player limped. The action folded to 'Job Trekpop' and he was all-in for 500 big blinds. Guy Felder called after he had limped and they opened up.

Job Trekpop: {7-Spades}{6-Spades}
Guy Felder: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The {8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop gave the Dutchman a ton more outs but and so did the {6-Clubs} turn card. The river was the {2-Hearts} and it was the biggest brick that could have been dealt and the pot was pushed to Felder who has an amazing start of the tournament.

There have been 485 entries made in the Main Event so far and chances are the number will double on the final starting day of the €225 Main Event at the 2019 Lex Live Namur at Grand Casino de Namur. The regular Day 1C will feature 30-minute levels and it starts at 6 p.m. local time. There will be another turbo flight later in the day starting at 10 p.m.

Felix 'xflixx' Schneiders and Fintan 'EasyWithAces' Hand arrived in Namur and are already playing in a €30 private sit and go open for members of the community. They will play the Main Event today just like Sanne 'Antim00n' Bombeek. Bombeek won a €3.30 satellite on PokerStars to get her €225 ticket for the Main Event. ''I'm super excited about today. I'm a very casual player and am not expecting to win but I just want to have a good time in Namur.''

The tournament will run for twelve levels and everyone will start with 50,000 at blinds 100/100. The big blind ante will kick in at level four which is 200/400 with a big blind ante of 400.

PokerNews will be on site to report on the tournament from start to finish.
