Day 1C and Day 1C turbo are in the books and Job Trekpop is chip leader with 404,500. Registration is closed and there are no more starting flights in the huge €225 Lex Live Namur Main Event in Grand Casino de Namur. A total of 497 entries were made on Day 1C and 82 entries were made on Day 1C turbo. The total number of entries stands at 1,064. The winner of the tournament will receive an incredible €37,105 while 111 players will walk away with at least €492.

The third regular starting day was Day 1C and it started with over 100 players on the clock already. As soon as late registration closed there were a whopping 497 players registered in the event. Only 173 players made it through to Day 2 and Job Trekpop, the biggest troll in Lex Veldhuis his Twitch chat stands on top of the leaderboard with a stack of 404,500. Job made it very clear at the start of the day that he was there to have fun. He started the tournament by jamming every hand in the first orbit until he was out or if he doubled up. In the third hand of the day, he was the big blind and the under-the-gun player limped. Job moved all-in for 500 big blinds and the limper called. Job was live with seven-six suited but he was well behind the pocket queens of his opponent. Job flopped an open-ended straight draw and he turned a pair. The river was a brick through and the Twitch personality was off to the cashier to reenter.

Others that made it through to Day 2 include Steven 'Aka_nosebud' Eckl (167,000), Jorden Verbraeken (163,000), Kalidou Sow (140,000), PokerStars Team Online member Felix 'xflixx' Schneiders (73,500), and Christophe de Meulder (38,000). Others were not as fortunate. Sanne 'Antim00n' Bombeek qualified for the event through a €3.30 satellite on PokerStars but she busted halfway through the day. Her husband and fellow Lex Veldhuis community member Bart 'Rizn00' Verboven busted with only two hours left in the day.

A fun side event that happened today was the FU Friday Flip. A €60 tournament where every level the clock was paused and everyone had to participate in a flip for five big blinds. Community member Markus 'L4zy_pigeon' Borel busted out of the tournament on the bubble. Christopher Hooper took down the tournament that attracted 56 players. He won the grand prize of €926.

Day 2 of the Main Event will continue on Saturday, March 30th, at 4 p.m. local time. PokerNews will report on all the activity happening at the Lex Live Namur Main Event.

Siereveld Makes Van Brabander Fold

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Michel Siereveld defended his big blind after Charlotte van Brabander opened the action with a raise from middle position. The flop fell {5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Siereveld check-called a bet of 6,000 from Van Brabander.

The turn was the {7-Spades} and both checked to see the {8-Hearts} river on the board. Sierveld opted to lead on the river with a bet of 16,000 and that was more than enough to make Van Brabander fold her hand.

Job Trekpop Pulls the Trigger

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Job Trekpop made very clear that he was here to have fun. When the tournament started he pushed all in blind for an orbit and that cost him his first bullet. He also showed multiple big bluffs throughout the day.

His last victim was Jeremy Launay from France. Launay called a raise in position from Job Trekpop who had made it 7,000. The flop fell {j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Job Trekpop checked to the Frenchman. Launay took over the betting initiative with a bet of 9,000 and the Dutchman called.

The turn was the {q-Diamonds} and both players checked in quick fashion. The river was the {8-Spades} and Job Trekpop announced ''two million'' as he pushed his stack worth 180,000 over the line. His opponent went into the tank for almost five minutes but he eventually folded.

Trekpop opened up {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} as he bluffed with just king-high. Launay then showed the cards he folded and those were {a-}{9-}.
