Vera Kuhl
Vera Kuhl

Robert Blaauwgeers raised to 2,300 from the cutoff and Vera Kuhl shoved on the button for 16,600. Jon Kyte called in the big blind while Blaauwgeers folded.

Vera Kuhl: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Jon Kyte: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The flop came {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{q-Hearts} with the nine in the window and for both of them to flop a pair. Kyte was still ahead with the higher pair though. The rest of the board was completed with the {7-Diamonds} on the turn and the {k-Clubs} on the river for Kyte to send Kuhl to the rail.

The hand after, Philippe Houman was all-in for his last 100 from the early position. Hrvoje Magzan raised from the button and was called by William Mitchell in the big blind. Houman was playing a pot of 1,400 in total.

The flop came {7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, Mitchell bet 3,500 and that was enough to get Magzan out of the way for the cards to go on their backs.

Philippe Houman: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}
William Mitchell: {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Houman was ahead with the higher hole cards.

The turn was the {a-Hearts} for Houman to hit top pair. He only needed to avoid a nine and he did as the {q-Hearts} completed the board on the river to stay alive.

Fares Shehadeh raised to 800 from the middle position and Dan Olin called in the hijack. Komil Khamidov three-bet to 3,500 from the cutoff and was called by Terence Jordan in the small blind. Shehadeh and Olin also called.

The turn was the {2-Clubs}, Jordan checked again. Shehadeh bet 14,500, Olin folded and Khamidov responded with a shove. Jordan asked for a count and the dealer confirmed Khamidov had 23,000 behind. Jordan took a few seconds and then decided to make the call. Shehadeh decided to shove too for 28,000 more and Jordan put in the chips for the call.

"I have nothing," Khamidov admitted before showing he held {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for ace-high.

Shehadeh held {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} for the overpair.

Jordan tabled {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for the gutshots to a straight.

"You're live!" Matteo Parlato commented.
