Marshall Surrenders

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

David Marshall kicked the action off with a raise to 1,200 from middle position, which only Johan Kreutz called, defending his big blind.

Marshall continued for 2,200 on the 1095 flop, and Kreutz called for a second time.

Both players checked on the 2 turn, and when Kreutz checked for a third time on the A river, Marshall considered his options before checking back.

Kreutz tabled J9, which was enough to beat the Q8 of Marshall.

Burke Takes it on the Turn

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Action was joined with 1,900 already in the middle, and a flop showing 9Q8.

Kenny Burke, in the big blind, check-called a bet of 800 by Maroun Sily in the cutoff, before the two headed to a turn.

The dealer added the 9 to the board, and Burke opted to take over the betting lead, placing a bet of 1,700.

This was enough to see Sily give up on the pot, as he returned his cards to the dealer.

Dadbin Shows First and Wins

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Giuseppe Bellinghieri got the action going with a raise to 700 from the cutoff. Denis Casalis and Sacha Dadbin called from the small and big blinds.

Bellinghieri continued for another 700 on the 3A2 flop, and both his opponents called again.

The turn J saw Bellinghieri continue once more, this time for a larger 1,800. Casalis opted to fold, but Dadbin stuck around.

The river 6 saw both players check, and a standoff ensued. Neither player wanted to turn their cards over first, causing the dealer to intervene and advise Dadbin that he was first to show.

Dadbin flipped over A8, which was good enough to win the pot as Bellinghieri mucked his cards.

Marshall Bests Weller

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

David Marshall kicked the action off by limping in, which prompted Anja Weller to do the same on the button, with the small blind following suit. Mark McKenzie then raised to 1,200 from the big blind, which both Marshall and Weller called, before the small blind folded.

The dealer spread a 8JK flop, and McKenzie continued for 1,100. Both opponents called.

McKenzie and Marshall then checked the 8 turn, seeing Weller place a bet of 2,000. McKenzie folded, but Marshall stuck around.

The river A slowed the action, as both players checked.

Weller turned over QJ, which was no good versus the K9 of Marshall.

Early Pot for Mesiranta

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Stefano Frisolo limped in from the hijack before seeing a raise from Ville-Tapio Mesiranta to 800, on his immediate left. The player in the big blind called, and Frisolo came along too.

Mesiranta continued for 1,700 on the K4A flop, which only Frisolo called.

The dealer added the 5 turn to the board, and when Mesiranta turned up the heat with a bet of 3,500, Frisolo surrendered, returning his cards to the dealer.
