Met with a raise from Henning Raabe to 1,400 from middle position, Ville-Tapio Mesiranta opted to three-bet from the cutoff to 4,600 in keeping with his aggressive tendencies. Action folded back to Raabe, who made the call.
The dealer spread a 3♥9♣8♠ flop, and when Raabe checked, Mesiranta continued with a bet of 5,600. This was enough to see the pot pushed towards Mesiranta, as Raabe returned his cards to the dealer.

The river 10♣ saw both players happy to go to a showdown. After they both checked, Loustau tabled 5♣5♥, which was enough to claim the pot as Curcu mucked his cards.

Seeing a limp ahead of him, Ville-Tapio Mesiranta raised to 1,700 in the cutoff. One seat to his left, Matteo Condemi responded with a three-bet to 4,800.
The limper folded, and Mesiranta went into the tank, looking his opponent up and down. After a few moments, he removed his own sunglasses to get a better look at Condemi. After deep consideration, he opted to fold, returning his cards to the dealer.
Another pot was pushed in the direction of Condemi, who is beginning to build a stack.
