The players have been sent on their first 20-minute break of the day.
The dealer was counting out a double-up of 50,000 for Serhii Ivanenko, with Garry Spinks the unfortunate player being asked to pay the bill.
Ivanenko had Q♣Q♠ against Spinks' 9♦9♠, with the the board reading 10♠5♥2♥4♣3♠.
Jack Muscat opened to 2,000 under the gun, and Carl Thompson called in the big blind.
The 10♠9♠4♣ flop was checked to the 10♣ turn, where Thompson check-called a bet of 2,000 from Muscat.
The 2♠ river was checked through, and Muscat mucked when Thompson tabled 10♥6♥ for trip tens.
With around 30,000 in the middle on a board of 6♣2♥2♦7♦, Carsten Mawick had fired out an overbet of 50,000, covering Nir Kirschblum's remaining stack of around 45,000.
Kirschblum had his hand to his head, and was in the blender, looking pained. After around another 40 seconds of thought, Kirschblum called.
Nir Kirschblum: A♦Q♣
Carsten Mawick: A♠6♠
Kirschblum had went for the hero-call with only the board pair of deuces, and only had three outs versus Mawick's two pair.
The J♦ river was a brick, and Mawick scooped a monster pot.
Carsten Mawick was runner-up in this event last year, and he's back hoping to go one better this time around.
Nir Kirschblum opened to 1,500 from the hijack, and received a call from Keith Smith in the cutoff, before Mawick produced a three-bet to 4,100 from the button.
Both of his opponents called, and both promptly check-folded on the A♦Q♥9♠ flop in the face of a bet of 7,000 from Mawick.

James Poulter opened to 1,000 under the gun, and was faced with a three-bet to 3,300 from Serhii Ivanenko in the big blind.
Poulter called to see the 6♣4♣3♥ flop, where Ivanenko fired out a bet of 5,500.
Poulter called after some deliberation, but was forced to fold versus a double-barrel of 16,500 from Ivanenko on the 2♣ turn.
Serhii Ivanenko opened to 1,000 under the gun, and Darren Knaggs defended in the big blind.
Knaggs check-called a continuation bet of 2,300 from Ivanenko on the 8♥4♥4♦ flop to see the 6♥ turn, which was checked through to the Q♥ river.
Knaggs led out with a bet of 3,000, and Ivanenko folded. "Good river" smiled Knaggs, as he scooped in the pot.
Lan Ly was getting up out of her chair with a look of shock on her face, and her stack was being passed to Jack Dyminski.
Ly had 10♦10♠ against Dyminski's 6♣5♣, who flopped a huge combo draw on 9♥3♣2♣.
All the money went in, and despite missing his draws, the pot still went to Dyminski after he went runner-runner for two pair on the 5♥6♥ runout.
