Abbate Goes Runner-Runner on Tredici

Level 10 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
MPF - Tournament Room
MPF - Tournament Room

Davide Abbate was all-in for 60,000 and at risk against Giuseppe Tredici.

Davide Abbate: AJ All in
Giuseppe Tredici: KQ

Abbate was ahead, but he looked thoroughly disgusted with the Q63 flop, giving Tredici top pair.

Abbate's ears pricked up after the K turn, and he drilled the 10 river to make the broadway straight and double.

Straight for Dervishi

Level 9 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Matteo Montanari opened to 12,000 from middle position, and was met with a three-bet to 25,000 from Krenar Dervishi in the small blind.

Montanari called to see the 983 flop, where Dervishi jammed with the covering stack. Montanari's remaining 60,000 was in the middle before Dervishi's chips had breached the betting line.

Matteo Montanari: A9 All in
Krenar Dervishi: J10

It was top pair versus a wrap draw, and it was instant service for Dervishi on the Q turn, the 5 river completing the board.

Therme Forces River Fold

Level 9 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

A pot of 90,000 had brewed by the river on A77109, and Jonathan Therme fired out a bet of 60,000 from early position, sending Artur Pashkouski into the tank on the button.

After a fair bit of thought, Pashkouski folded.

Assennato Annihilates Aces to Triple

Level 9 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Fabio Assennato
Fabio Assennato

Vincenzo Cinelli opened to 16,000, and was met with a three-bet jam from Fabio Assennato from the small blind for 41,000.

Robert McAdam was in the big blind, and he cold-called. Cinelli took quite a bit of time to think before jamming for 82,000, and McAdam snapped with the covering stack.

"Aces?" said Cinelli, and when McAdam nodded, Cinelli commented "I knew it when you just called."

Fabio Assennato: KQ All in
Vincenzo Cinelli: 99 All in
Robert McAdam: AA

McAdam looked set for a huge pot, but the KKQ flop sent Assennato into dreamland, causing gasps from the table, and there was no escape for either of his opponents on the 5 turn and 5 river.

Assennato got out his phone and said "I need a picture of this for my son", as he raked in his new found wealth.
