Rodriguez Bet-Folds River

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A pot of 28,000 had brewed on a completed board of KJ7810, in a cutoff versus button hand between Scott Rodriguez and Matteo Montanari.

Rodriguez led out with a bet of 8,500, and folded to a raise of 28,000 from Montanari, after a decent spell in the tank.

Montanari flashed the A, and after a bit of probing from Rodriguez, seemed to confirm he had ace-queen for the straight.

Zur Linden Doubles

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With 36,000 in the middle on a completed board of A52A6, Bojan Simoncic checked from the small blind to Alexander zur Linden in middle position.

Zur Linden jammed for 32,000, and Simoncic went into the tank. After a reasonable period of contemplation, he flicked in a calling chip.

Zur Linden looked concerned and tabled AJ for trip aces, but he need not have worried as Simoncic shook his head with frustration and attempted to muck, the dealer tabling 1010.

The 6 appeared on the turn, and Pannunzi checked once more. Martynczuk went for a double-barrel of 11,000, and quickly called when Pannunzi jammed for 36,100.
