Martynczuk, who soft-bubbled Day 1g yesterday, will no doubt be relieved that he appeared to have lost the minimum.
Anne-Marie Yuen opened to 1,100 under the gun, and was met with a three-bet to 2,600 from Giovanni La Rosa in middle position. Johann Berger and Antti Ruohonen cold-called in the next seats, and Yuen made up the difference.
On the J♥8♠5♦ flop, action was checked to La Rosa, who slid out a bet of 5,500, earning swift folds from all three of his opponents.

Salvatrice D'Urso opened to 800 from the cutoff, and was met with a three-bet to 3,000 from Andrei Chiriliuc on the button.
Stephen Docherty cold-called in the big blind, and D'Urso came along for the ride.
Action was checked to Chiriliuc on the K♦6♥5♣ flop, who fired out a bet of 3,000. Docherty called, but D'Urso check-raised to 12,000. Chiriliuc thought for a bit and called, while Docherty quickly folded.
The A♦ turn was an interesting card, and was checked to the 9♠ river. D'Urso led out with a bet of 10,000, and Chiriliuc quickly called.
D'Urso confidently tabled 6♦5♦ for two pair, but Chiriliuc had got there on the turn with A♠K♠ for the better two pair.
With 1,400 in the middle on a flop of K♥6♦2♥, Alessandro Giacobbe fired out a bet of 1,200 from under the gun, and was met with a raise to 3,600 from Danas Dambrauskas in the cutoff.
Giacobbe called to see the 9♠ turn, where he check-called a bet of 5,600 from Dambrauskas.
The 2♣ river completed the board, and the same pattern followed, this time in respect of a bet of 11,000 from Dambrauskas, the decisions of both players being made with lightning speed.
Dambrauskas tabled A♠7♦ for air, and Giacobbe was well ahead with K♠6♠ for two pair.
Artur Pashkouski opened to 1,000 under the gun, and Fabio Giamberardini defended the big blind.
On the 7♠3♦3♣ flop, Giamberardini check-called in the face of a continuation bet of 700 from Pashkouski.
The 6♣ turn was checked to the 7♣ river, bringing a double-paired board, and Giamberardini quickly check-folded versus a bet of 3,000 from Pashkouski.
