Canetti Makes Sizeable River Bet

Action was on the flop on a board of 6♣2♥Q♦ and all three players checked. The turn came the 7♥ and Jeremie Canetti put out a bet, which only "Walid" called.

On the 2♠ river, Canetti led out with a large bet of 48,000 and "Walid" made the call. Canetti showed Q♣10♥ for a pair of queens and "Walid" mucked to give him the pot.

"EV" Raises River

In an already inflated pot, action was on the flop on a board of Q♦10♥8♥ and "EV" and Nicolas Garrigues had 36,000 each in flop bets in the middle as the hand went to the turn. The two players then slowed down on the 10♣ turn, checking it to the river.

On the 5♥ river, Garrigues bet 26,000 before "EV" raised it up to 90,000. Garrigues was forced to fold and "EV" pulled in a nice pot to take him into the last few levels of the day.

Picking up the action on the turn on a board of 6♥6♦K♥K♦, Jeremie Canetti bet 6,000 and "Mohamedovic12" called. The river came the 5♦ and Canetti switched to a check. "Mohamedovic12" made it 8,000 and Canetti called.

"Mohamedovic12" showed K♣Q♣ for a full house, kings full of sixes. Canetti mucked and "Mohamedovic12" scooped the pot.

Kalevra Doubles After Goading His Opponent Into a Call

Action was on the river on a board of 2♠A♥A♠6♠2♦ and Kelevra had pushed his chips into the middle almost before the last card was dealt. Ehny was in the tank when Kelevra started goading his opponent and applying verbal pressure.

Unfortunately, this reporter is far from fluent in French, but he did say, "Alex, pass the cards" a few times during his little rant. Kelevra had been playing extremely aggressively throughout the day, his stack fluctuating wildly, giving Ehny even more reason to make the call on what was essentially a polarized range on the board.

Eventually, Ehny flicked in a chip to make the call, only for Kelevra to turn over A♦5♥ for a full house, aces full of deuces.. Ehny had 8♠6♣, a brave bluff catching call. This time though, Kelevra had it and doubled up his stack.

Chakib Bennani raised to 4,000 from early position and "Capriccio1" called in the big blind. Bennani continued with a bet on the 8♦J♥3♦ flop and "Capriccio1" called.

On the 6♠ turn, Bennani bet 12,000 and "Capriccio1" made the call. Both players then checked to showdown on the 2♣ river.

Bennani had K♥Q♦ for king-high, while "Capriccio1" flipped over A♦2♦. Although "Capriccio1" had missed his flush draw, his pair of deuces was enough to win at showdown.
