Bounaya Takes From Reigning Champion Forge

Sofian Bounaya open-raised to 3,500 from under the gun, Tristan Forge called in middle position, Eric Rabut called in the small blind, and Adil Oubaaous called in the big blind.

The flop came 7♥J♦10♠ and action checked to Bounaya, who continued for 5,000. All three of the other players called. On the A♣ turn, action checked to Forge this time before he bet 12,000. Only Bounaya called.

On the K♥ river, Bounaya moved all in for the rest of his now relatively short stack and Forge quickly called. Forge had J♠J♣ for a set of jacks, while Bounaya had Q♥Q♦ for a rivered straight to win the pot.

Picking up the action on the turn on a board of 9♣6♠A♠2♠ and action checked to Anas Tadini, who made it 20,000 to go. Sofian Bounaya called all in for a little under that amount and the other player who was in the pot folded.

Bounaya showed 4♠3♠ for a flush, but Anas Tadini had J♠5♠ for a higher flush. The river changed nothing and Tadini won the pot, sending Bounaya to the exit.
