In its April 2014 WSOP Circuit event, Harrah's Cherokee continued a trend of breaking attendance records contributing to a prize pool of over $4 million. Buy-ins for the upcoming 2014-15 event will range from $65 to $1,675.
Twelve Circuit gold rings will be awarded with most ring events lasting two days. Games featured will include no-limit hold'em, limit hold'em, Omaha hi/lo, and pot-limit Omaha. The Circuit event will also include a H.O.R.S.E. tournament, as well as a ladies event and a seniors event.

Gereon Sowa raised to 800 and Firat Baltaci three-bet to 2,200 on the button. Sowa clicked it back to 6,400 and was called. On the flop, Sowa led out for 3,600 and was called before check-calling a bet of 7,300 on the turn himself. Baltaci moved all in for 7,425 after the river and was eventually called to turn over pocket deuces for a straight and score the double up.

After a raise to 1,000 and a three-bet to 2,600, David Peters made it 7,000 to go and the initial raiser tanked for a minute before five-betting to 37,000, which put both opponents all in and at risk. The three-bettor called all in for 20,000 with and Peters released his cards, the initial raiser showed . The board ran out and once again the best starting hand got cracked today.

Mateusz Moolhuizen just managed to double up with the classic versus race. The Dutch player's queens held firm on a board, although Moolhuizen hasn't been too impressed with his own play today, "Sometimes you double up and you just don't deserve it but you get it anyway..."

On a flop, it was checked by Jonas Mackoff and Andrew Chen to a player who bet 2,200. Mackoff called and Chen folded. The on the turn was checked by both players and Mackoff led out for 6,000 and his opponent folded face up almost instantly.
Mackoff and Chen remain two of the bigger stacks today.

Clement Thumy raised from under the gun and found two callers including Davidi Kitai in the big blind. The Belgian check-raised all in for 8,000 after the flop with for top pair and the cold-caller snapped him off with a set of nines. Kitai is currently considering whether or not to re-enter.
