From middle position, Raúl Van Boxtel open raised to 750 and Joris Ruys on the button was the sole caller.
The flop came and Van Boxtel followed his pre-flop raise up with a bet of 750. Ruys raised to 2,300 and Van Boxtel shoved for about 13,000. Ruys called.

The on the turn and resulted in Van Boxtel getting up while Ruys started stacking.
Ben Heath has been eliminated, the second player to bust today and the second player to hand his stack to Ole Schemion who was once again responsible.
Schemion and Heath got it in with (Schemion) versus (Heath). The board did not bring Heath enough help and he departed in 7th place. Six players remain with Schemion in the lead.
We missed it, but one of our colleasgues told us the details of the first bust out of the day.
Noah Boeken, who won this event back in 2013, raised to 400 and Hans Bosman called in position. From the cutoff, Floris van der Ven, a well known Dutch poker pro specialized in cash games, squeezed to 1,500. Boeken was the only caller, Bosman folded.
Boeken check-called a bet of 1,200 on before the hit the turn. Boeken checked again and Van der Ven bet 4,000. Boeken moved all in, putting Van der Ven to the test for his 16,000 stack. Van der Ven called.

The river did nothing for Van der Ven and he was the first to hit the rail here in Amsterdam. He still has the option to buy back in today, or take some rest and try again on Day 1b.
David Boyaciyan, who won this event in 2011 for €382,200 and finished runner-up in 2014 for €178,000, just took his seat. He wasn't the only one, as a whole batch of new players sat down. The field is getting close to 100 entries.
Louis Salter was first to act and raised to 450. In the cutoff, Arne Coulier called. Salter fired 650 on and Coulier called. Salter checked the on the turn and Coulier bet 1,150. Salter thought about it for a bit before he called.
The on the river saw Salter check again. Coulier bet 2,675 and Salter called after some consideration.
"Kings" Coulier said confident before showing . Salter mucked.
Brummelhuis and Salter talked a bit after the hand, with Coulier saying he was pretty confident he wanted a call on the river. "A raise would've been nasty, though."
Yesterday, the biggest ever buy-in on Dutch soil started with 12 players. This morning, Charlie Carrel signed up to close the registration with 13 players. 8 players started this morning on the feature table and just now, the first player departed.
Juha Helppi was the unfortunate soul to go first today. He got it in with against the of Ole Schemion. Schemion, who won the Main Event here at the Master Classics of Poker back in 2012, made a backdoor flush to sent Helppi packing.
2013 PCA champion Dimitar Danchev raised to 400 and the big blind called. The big blind check-called a bet of 275 on before leading 625 on the turn. Danchev called.
The river completed the board and the big blind bet 1,500. Danchev sighed and leaned back. He eventually called and the big blind showed . Danchev tabled and raked in the pot.
