Kahle Burns, Tony G and Stephen Chidwick are no stranger to high roller final tables and they will hope to add another trophy to their resumes.

The day started with many players taking their shot in the tournament. This included Phil Ivey who max late registered but was swiftly eliminated at the hand of Burns.

The bubble quickly approached after the late registration period closed as many players hit the rails quickly. Tony G was still in the tournament on the bubble but he would be the one bursting the bubble and not the bubble boy like in the $5,300 MPP Main Event.. Vladislav Ivanov was by far the shortest stack on the bubble after his set of kings was beaten by Ricci's nut flush and he was eventually eliminated at the hands of Tony G in a flip.

Players were quickly eliminated after the bubble with notable names such as Daniel Rezaei (18th-$25,000), Steve O'Dwyer (14th- $25,000) and Selahaddin Bedir (12th- $30,000) all being eliminated before the final tables. However it would be Bruno Volkmann (9th-$40,000) who would be eliminated just before the final table as the Brazilian attempted to bluff Tang who had a full house.

The final table started late into the evening where the tournament director decided that play will end with six players. First it was Symeon Alexandridis who bowed out in eighth place (8th- $40,000) as he was eliminated by the on-fire Tony G. Seven handed play lasted a while before Matthias Lipp eventually hit the dust as Tang took another victim to end the day.

Play will resume at 12 p.m. local time with blinds continuing at 80,000/160,000 with an 160,000 big blind ante.

That concludes our coverage of the $10,400 MPP High Roller. Be sure to check back for the final results to see who came out on top.

Matthias Lipp Eliminated in 7th Place ($50,000)

Level 26 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Mathias Lipp
Mathias Lipp

Danny Tang opened to 320,000 from early position and Alex Peffly called from the hijack. Matthias Lipp also called from the small blind, leaving 50,000 chips behind.

The flop came {4-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Tang ripped his 5,300,000 stack all in, which caused tense moments on the table as Peffly used three time chips and considered calling off his stack worth around 2,355,000. Eventually, he would make the fold. Lipp flipped in his chips.

Matthias Lipp: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}
Danny Tang: {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

Though Lipp had Tang dominated preflop, Tang hit his six and Lipp needed either running spades, a ten, or a board straight in order to stay alive.

However, the {k-Clubs} arrived on the turn and the {2-Spades} completed the board to eliminate Lipp in seventh place and finally bring an end to play for the night.

Lipp Back to Three Big Blinds After Winning Flip

Level 26 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Matthias Lipp went all in for 75,000 from the cutoff and Andrea Ricci shoved over the top from the button.

Matthias Lipp: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Andrea Ricci: {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

As some players continue to hope for sleep, as play will end at six players, while Tony G continues to ask to play until the end, the flop came {q-Spades}{k-Clubs}{5-Spades} to put Lipp way in the lead.

The {2-Diamonds} and {9-Diamonds} completed the board, taking Lipp back to three big blinds and keeping the players here for at least another hand.

Andrea Ricci shoved for 1,325,000 from under the gun and Matthias Lipp called from the big blind.

Andrea Ricci: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
Matthias Lipp: {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

It was nearly a 3,000,000-chip flip that went Ricci's way on the {8-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} flop.

The {5-Clubs} and {3-Clubs} completed the board and Lipp was left with under two big blinds.

Tony G raised to 250,000 from middle position before Symeon Alexandridis moved all in from the small blind for 1,085,000. Tony G made the call.

Symeon Alexandridis: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Tony G: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

It was a fair fight and Alexandridis remained ahead on the {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop. The turn was safe when it came the {5-Clubs}. However there seems to be no stopping Tony G in all ins today as the river came the {k-Diamonds} to eliminate Alexandridis in ninth place for $40,000.

Chidwick Takes 1.5 Million-Chip Pot vs. Alexandridis

Level 25 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Symeon Alexandridis opened to 250,000 from under the gun and Stephen Chidwick defended his big blind.

The flop came {3-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Alexandridis continued for 350,000. Chidwick made the call.

The turn brought the {q-Clubs} and after Chidwick checked over to Alexandridis, he would use two time banks before checking back.

The players would both check the {5-Spades} river and Chidwick produced {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Alexandridis knuckled the table and the pot was shoved Chickwick's way.
