Rebei Triples Up, Dowling Eliminated

Level 16 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

With around 200,000 in the middle on a {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades} board, Karim Rebei was all in for 178,000 and Chris Dowling was all in for 560,000. Alex Peffly covered the two of them and was also involved in the pot with well over a million chips in the middle.

Karim Rebei: {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Chris Dowling: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Alex Peffly: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Rebei had the best of it and was the odds-on favorite to triple up while Peffly was set to take down the side pot.

The {q-Clubs} and {5-Spades} completed the board, taking Rebei to nearly 750,000 while eliminating Dowling.

Borovkov Stuns Tuna with Straight Flush in 830,000-Chip All-In Pot

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

In the last hand before dinner break, there was roughly 260,000 in the middle on a {6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} board and Aleksey Borovkov, from the big blind, put in a bet of 130,000, leaving 154,000 chips behind.

Akin Tuna, in the button on a similar stack, moved all in over the top of Borovkov, who made the call.

Aleksey Borovkov: {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Akin Tuna: {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Borovkov had flopped a straight but Tuna was drawing to a bigger flush draw.

The river brought the {7-Diamonds}, which had Tuna pumping the air until he realized Borovkov had hit an unlikely straight flush on the river, which whittled him down to about 14,000 chips.

A distraught Tuna claimed that he was not going to come back after the dinner break.

Nagy Under Eight Big Blinds After Rezaei Rivers Flush

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Daniel Rezaei called from the small blind and Phillip Nagy checked his option.

On the {7-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Spades} flop, Rezaei checked to Nagy who put out a bet of 25,000. Rezaei asked, "You hit your hand?" before making the call.

On the {8-Clubs} turn, Nagy continued for 50,000, leaving 90,000 behind. Rezaei called once more.

On the {10-Clubs} river, Rezaei checked over to Nagy who tried to find a way to get his chips in before tapping the table and showing {q-Spades}{10-Hearts} for two pair.

"Flush!" Rezaei said before producing {7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}.

Nagy is now down to less than eight bigs as the dinner break approaches.

Bruno Volkmann raised to 25,000 from the hijack before Jamil Wakil three bet to 84,000 from the cutoff. Dzmitry Urbanovich four bet all in for 239,000 from the button.

Action folded around to Volkmann who moved out the way. Wakil thought for a bit before making the call.

Dzmitry Urbanovich: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Jamil Wakil: {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

Wakil was disappointed to see he was up against Urbanovich's pocket aces. The flop came {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} as Urbanovich stood up putting him firmly in control. The turn was the {7-Spades} which gave Wakil an open-ended-straight-draw. However the river came the {7-Hearts} which gave Urbanovich the double up.
