Dashti Doubles; Almost Gets Gift

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

From under the gun, Ghanim Dashti jammed for 855,000. Kyle Maguire re-jammed fore more on his direct left and everyone else folded.

Dashti had the {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} while Maguire had the {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}.

The flop came {5-Spades}{k-Spades}{10-Spades} to pair Dashti and put him into the led. The turn was the {6-Clubs} and the river came the {k-Clubs} to confirm his double up.

After the hand, there was some confusion as Maguire had a stack of chips in front of him that was from the extra amount of his re-jam, he accidentally said it was Dashti's who took in the chips as a "gift" and didn't realize that they were not his chips. Dasht added the extra stack of about 2,000,000 into his own stack and it took about ten seconds before Hannes Jeschka pointed out something was amiss.

The dealer then pointed out that those chips actually belonged to Maguire and the stacks had to be counted to make sure that Dashti had the correct amount which was confirmed as the players laughed about the bizarre moment.

James Harvey

James Harvey shoved all in for 2,100,000 from the cutoff. In the small blind, Oleg Netaliev asked for a count before calling as big blind Riccardo Saraniero got out of the way.

James Harvey: {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Oleg Netaliev: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The {3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{q-Spades} flop was a disaster for Harvey as Netaliev made top pair. Harvey was already drawing dead by the time the {8-Diamonds} fell on the river.

"Good game. Nice playing with you guys," he said as the {k-Spades} on the river sealed his elimination.
