Just 161 players out of a starting field of 1,032 will return inside the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel, but only 155 will finish in the money. Six players will leave North Cyprus empty-handed.
Christopher Frank is in no danger of being one of them. The German pro with more than $2,500,000 in career live winnings surged toward the end of the night yesterday and enters Day 3 in the top five with 1,710,000. Sergey Bobrik is the chip leader with 2,366,000, followed by Andrey Litvinov (2,173,000), Dawid Smolka (2,050,000), and Ran Ilani (1,920,000).

The turn brought the to bring three to a royal flush. Smolka led for 400,000 and Litvinoc called after some thought to swell the pot to well over a million.
The river came a blank looking . Smolka used a time extension before putting together a bet of 1,200,000 and sliding the assortment of stacks forward.
Litvinov went into the tank and used up three time banks before eventually folding his hand to send a chunk of his stack over to the new chip leader.
