Khamatgareev Rivers a Straight to Take Big Pot

Level 1 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Irena Macesovic raised to 900 from under the gun before Ufuk Erkmen three-bet to 2,000 on the button. Ravil Khamatgareev called in the small blind, as did Macesovic as they went three handed to the {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades} flop.

Action checked to Erkmen who continued for 2,200, with both opponents calling. The turn came the {k-Spades} and Macesovic opened the betting with 5,300.

Erkmen and Khamatgareev both called as the {4-Spades} fell on the river. Khamatgareev now took his turn to open the betting, firing out 18,000. Macesovic quickly called, while Erkmen tanked for nearly two minutes before folding.

Khamatgareev turned over {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for the rivered straight and Macesovic mucked.

Paulina Loeliger and Ghanim Dashti, who has reentered after failing to survive the first two days, are also seated at this table.

The river came the {3-Diamonds}. Both players checked. Wilf turned over the {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} which was good enough to take the pot on the double paired board.

Tulin Takes Five-Way Pot With River Bet

Five players, including Wael Sarkis in early position, Dimitri Huley in the cutoff, small blind Nikolai Tulin, and big blind Sofia Lovgren, saw a flop of {j-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}.

Action checked to Sarkis and he threw out a bet of 4,000. Only Huley and Tulin called to see the {4-Hearts} on the turn.

All three players checked and the river came the {6-Spades}. Tulin now led out for 10,000 and Sarkis quickly folded. Huley, thought, tanked for about a minute before he also surrendered the pot.

Salkaev Keeps Pressure On

Action was picked up on the turn with the board reading {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}. Yury Salkaev bet 6,250 from early position into a pot of about 11,000. Volodymyr Drokin called in the small blind.

The river was the {5-Clubs}. Salkaev bet again, this time for 17,000 which got a quick fold out of Drokin.

With around 27,000 in the pot on a board of {7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}, Aleksandr Merzhvinskii bet 16,500 from the button and was called by big blind Andrei Berinov.

The river came the {q-Clubs} and Berinov now led out for 6,000. Merzhvinskii tanked for about a minute before shoving all in for around 60,000. Berinov quickly folded.

The river came the {4-Spades} and Isaia shoved all in for around 62,000. Sboev tanked for about two minutes before he folded.

"You like to gamble," Sboev asked Isaia after the hand.

"Yes I do. A lot," the Italian answered as he took in the pot.

Action was picked up on the turn with the board reading {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. From the cutoff, Miltiadis Kyriakides bet 6,000 into a pot of about 14,000.

Both of his opponents, on the button and in the big blind relented and folded their hands.

"Good call," a tablemate told Aksu after the hand.

Wilhelm Isaak three-bet to 2,600 from the big blind and was called by Niall Farrell from under the gun and button Seref Anar.

All three players checked the {5-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop. The turn came the {q-Hearts} and action checked to Anar, who bet 7,000.

Only Isaak called as the {3-Clubs} fell on the river. Isaak led out for 13,000 and Anar gave it some thought before folding.
