Garik Tamasyan Eliminated in 16th Place ($6,000)

Level 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Garik Tamasyan
Garik Tamasyan

Garik Tamasyan had jammed his last 785,000 chips in from middle position and Timur Margolin called from the button. The small blind went deep into the tank before deciding to let his cards go and the big blind got out of the way to put cards on their backs.

Garik Tamasyan: {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Timur Margolin: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

The board of {6-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{7-Clubs} sent Tamasyan to the rail. The player joked on Day 1 that he is a giant fish, not a bad result for the man with over $1,300,000 in live earnings. He took his exit well and you'll surely see more of him in updates to come throughout the series.

Ian Gascoigne Eliminated in 17th Place ($6,000)

Level 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Ian Gascoigne
Ian Gascoigne

After a successful shove and take it in the previous hand, Ian Gascoigne went all in from under the gun for 780,000.

The action folded to the big blind where Ben Hershkovich made the call after burning a time card.

Ian Gascoigne: {q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Ben Hershkovich: {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

Hershkovich's pocket three's held after a board of {j-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{2-Spades} did not provide any assistance for the Englishman.

Earlier Gascoigne sang "It's coming home!" after winning a big pot, unfortunately he will only be going home $6,000 richer

Alain Hajj: {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Frederick Anastasiades: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

Hajj was behind and there was not a glimmer of hope on the completed board of {j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and the Lebanese player heads to the exit with a payday of $6,000.

Gascoigne Loses Big One

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Ian Gascoigne
Ian Gascoigne

Dominique Gabriel had just doubled through Ian Gascoigne after the former jammed all in from the cutoff for around 1,500,000. Gascoigne called in the small blind and cards were on their backs.

Dominique Gabriel: {j-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Ian Gascoigne: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

The {q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{6-Diamonds} board gave Gabriel a big double, leaving Gascoigne with just a few blinds. Play is getting increasingly shallow as players try and make the final table.

Spyrou Spyros

Action was on Spyrou Spyros in the big blind and he moved all in for 700,000 chips against the under-the-gun open of Selahaddin Bedir. The call was made putting Spyros at risk.

Spyrou Spyros: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Selahaddin Bedir: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The {4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{a-Hearts} board paired Bedir's ace then gave him trips for good measure, sending Spyros to the rail in a very respectable 19th place. His various trilby hats will be missed from the event.

Andrea Radicchi Eliminated in 20th Place ($6,000)

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Andrea Radicchi
Andrea Radicchi

As mentioned in previous post, Iurii Brechalov and Andrea Radicchi busted in the same hand, to Belarusian Vadzim Godzdanker.

Radicchi finishes 20th for $6,000. A strong showing from the Italian, who was unfortunate to run into some big hands as they got down to the final 3-4 tables.

Andrea Radicchi

Iurii Brechalov had moved all in for his last 350,00 or so from middle position and the cutoff of Andrea Radicchi moved all in for his last 600,000 or so. The button of Vadzim Godzdanker then moved all in for his stack, covering and the other players at the table folded, putting cards on their backs.

Iurii Brechalov: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Andrea Radicchi: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Vadzim Godzdanker: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}

It was a bit of a cooler to say the least and the big stack had both players well covered. The board ran out {5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts} to send both the Italian and Russian to the rail. Radicchi had the bigger stack so he finishes above Brechalov, though the payout is the same.

Roy Tannous: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Ravil Khamatgareev: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The {8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} run out did give Tannous extra outs but he did not improve, sending him to the rail in 22nd place, good for $6,000.
