Day 1c and 1d of Event #7: $2,200 Warm Up from the Luxon Pay Mediterranean Poker Party have concluded with all remaining players in the money and setting up for a massive prize pool, smashing the $2,000,000 guarantee, with 1,046 entries.

A score of people entered the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel & Casino on Day 1c, with 409 entrants (including 93 reentries) for Day 1c, as well as 199 (including 43 reentries) for Day 1d. Just 61 players made it through with chips from Day 1c, with 30 for Day 1d. In total, 177 players will return for Day 2, where they plan to play down to a final table of 9 players.

Some big name players sat down at some point in Day 1c but couldn't run it to a Day 2 stack, they include Pavlo Veksler, Florian Duta and two-time bracelet winner Manig Loeser, just to name a few.

Some of of the most notable players returning with chips for Day 2 are Damir Zhugralin, Dzmitry Urbanovich, and Steven Warburton.

Ferenc Deak went on an incredible run towards the end of the day and will come in with a strong stack coming into Day 2 proceedings. British pro Niall Farrell turned up to the MPP but failed to run his stack up to anything and busted midway through the day. Dmitry Vitkind had a great pot that set him up to make the money after he got his nut straight in against top set and middle set on the turn and held for a big stack.

The bubble ended after a good few hands of hand-for-hand play. It was a cooler, when Motokatsu Uhara got his pocket queens in against big slick and an ace fell on the river. The rest of the players made Day 2 and will come back at 12:00 p.m. local time.

PokerNews will bring you all the Luxon Pay Mediterranean Poker Party updates live from Merit Royal Diamond Hotel & Casino in North Cyprus as they play down to a final table.

Motokatsu Uhara

After an open from Motokatsu Uhara from middle position to 18,000, the cutoff of Alireza Tannaci three-bet to 45,000. Uhara made the call.

On a flop of {4-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}, Uhara open ripped all in for 88,000 and Tannaci called.

Alireza Tannaci: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The turn was the {5-Clubs}, leaving Tannaci with any two, ace or king as an out. The {a-Diamonds} was flipped and Uhara turned in disgust as he was sent to the rail on the bubble.

Ferenc Deak has busted yet another player and is chip leader across all flights and Day 1c isn't even over yet. Heads-up from early position, Deak was facing a big blind jam of 101,000 into a pot of 80,000.

The board read {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Deak took about a minute before deciding to call off.

Opponent: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Ferenc Deak: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Deak was well ahead and the {8-Diamonds} river completed the board to send him soaring even higher, whilst busting a player. The opponent was a little displeased at how long Deak took to call.

Under-the-Gun: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
