Barer Keeps Building
Level 8
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
The action commenced with Damir Gabdullin raising from under the gun to 20,000, drawing three callers, including Ami Barer in the cutoff.
The flop displayed 4♥9♣J♠, and after the small and big blind checked, Gabdullin continued with a bet of 25,000, which only Barer called.
Both players checked through the J♣ turn.
Upon the river, revealing the 3♣, Gabdullin placed a bet of 175,000 into a 140,000 pot. Barer nearly folded, needing to insert his card within the time limit to extend his decision. It was a close call, but he managed to do so and ultimately called.
Gabdullin showed K♦10♣ for king-high, while Barer revealed Q♦Q♥, adding the pot to his stack.
