Talboom Takes from Sturm
Level 16
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Leon Sturm opened the betting from the cutoff with a raise to 120,000, which was called by Tom Talboom in the big blind.
On the flop 2♠8♦10♦, Talboom check-raised Sturm's bet of 80,000 to 275,000. After some consideration, Sturm made the call.
When the Q♣ appeared on the turn, Talboom seized the initiative with a bet of 160,000, which Sturm again called.
With the 10♥ landing on the river, Talboom went almost all in with his remaining stack of 545,000, leaving just 35,000 behind. Sturm entered a period of deep thought but ultimately chose to fold.
