2025 Mediterranean Poker Party
There were 860,000 chips gathered on a completed board of J♣J♠4♣9♠3♣. Vlad Darie made a bet of 535,000 from the big blind, leaving only a few chips behind.
He was then put all-in by Kirill Shcherbakov in the hijack, and a quick fold followed from Darie.
Not much later, Darie lost his final few chips, while Niall Farrell was also seen heading towards the exit.
After an earlier open to 50,000, Maxime Chilaud pushed all in for 385,000 from middle position. Aren Bezhanyan called in the cutoff, prompting the initial raiser to fold.
Maxime Chilaud: A♥6♥
Aren Bezhanyan: 8♦8♣
Bezhanyan flopped a set on 8♠6♠7♣. The A♣ turn provided some suspense, but the 7♠ river made Bezhanyan a full house to lock up the pot and eliminate the Frenchman.
Paul Runcan had shoved in his last 230,000 chips from the big blind and had been looked up by Paul Runcan on the button.
Ghassan Bitar: A♠2♦
Paul Runcan: A♦9♦
The board ran out an uneventful 8♣3♦3♠3♣7♦, leaving Runcan's kicker in play and eliminating Bitar.
Yilu Yuan had raised from early position when the player in the cutoff made it 120,000 to go. Kirill Shcherbakov then four-bet to 300,000, after which Yuan moved all in for 300,000.
The cutoff quickly got out of the way, and a snap-call followed from Shcherkabov.
Yilu Yuan: J♠J♥
Kirill Shcherbakov: A♥A♦
Yuan could not crack Shcherbakov's aces on the 7♣2♥8♣7♦10♦ runout, sending him to the rail instead.
Kirill Solovev raised to 30,000 under the gun. Konstantin Voronin three-bet to 100,000 in the hijack, which Solovev called once the action folded back to him.
He then promptly led out for a massive 300,000 on the 2♥J♥5♣ flop. Voronin took some time before putting his opponent all-in for 740,000, which Solovev eventually called.
Kirill Solovev: A♥5♥
Konstantin Voronin: Q♦Q♣
Solovev had plenty of outs against the ladies of Voronin, but none arrived on the 6♦ turn or J♠ river. Voronin slammed his chips on the table in celebration of winning the massive pot, while Solovev quickly departed.
Big blind Jordan Westmorland was seen making a bet of 60,000 into a pot of 335,000 on a turn of 2♣K♠7♥5♠. Kirill Shcherbakov called under the gun, after which the 3♠ river completed the board.
Westmorland decided to go all in for his stack of 155,000, and Shcherbakov quickly looked him up. Westmorland sighed as he could only show ace-high with A♠10♦, being bested by the K♣Q♣ of Shcherbakov
Erdem Akmert was already all-in preflop from the big blind when David Vinayagamoorthy under the gun and Samuel Ju in the cutoff built a small side pot of about 150,000, while the main pot amounted to 515,000.
They then checked through the K♠3♥J♥ flop before Vinayagamoorthy fired a bet on the A♠ turn. Ju quickly folded, revealing the cards.
Erdem Akmert: A♣10♥
David Vinayagamoorthy: A♦Q♥
Vinayagamoorthy's kicker remained in play on the K♥ river, kicking Akmert out of the High Roller.
Mohamed Mokrani had raised his button when he called the three-bet to 95,000 from Andrey Pateychuk in the big blind. Pateychuk bet 20,000 on the 2♥K♦6♥ flop and 55,000 on the 5♥ turn, both times being called by Mokrani.
Mokrani then put Pateychuk all-in for 165,000 once he had checked to him, which Pateychuk called after some thought.
Mokrani tabled A♥3♥ for the nut flush, while Pateychuk only briefly flashed his cards before taking his exit.
