Those looking to dethrone Voronin at the top of the chip counts will start today with a stack of 200,000. Fifteen levels will be played on each starting flight, with Day 1c having ten 30-minute and five 40-minute levels, and Day 1d playing a more fast-paced structure with 20-minute levels. A shot clock will be in play from the very start, amounting to 20 seconds preflop and 30 seconds postflop.

With the blinds starting at 1,000/1,000 (1,000), there is plenty of room to maneuver during the ten levels of late registration. Every player is allowed one reentry during this period, which, for Day 1c, ends around 5:40 p.m. when the blinds reach 6,000/12,000 (12,000). The live reporting will focus on Day 1c, with the full Day 1d chip counts posted at a later stage.
