With Level 12 nearly in the books, just 110 players remain from the 345 who started Day 1a of the $2,200 Luxon Pay Grand Final. The field has thinned considerably over the last few hours, and the pressure is mounting as players eye a coveted Day 2 bag.
Once Level 13 wraps up, the field will head out on a 20-minute break, leaving just two more levels to play before chips are sealed for the night. The full Day 1a structure—15 total levels with a progressive clock—will conclude tonight, and only the largest stack for each player will move forward to Day 2.
