What a start for Kaarle Parikka!
The action was picked up on a 9♦8♣5♦ flop with around 8,000 in the middle where the big blind checked and Matthew Pitt bet 2,500. Kaarle Parikka then raised to 8,000 from the cutoff, which got the big blind to fold. Pitt called.
A 7♦ hit the turn and after Pitt checked, Parikka fired out 12,500. A short while later, Pitt called.
The J♣ completed the runout and again Pitt checked, then Parikka slid forward a time bank, which gave him an extra 30 seconds to think. Parikka then made a bet of 32,500 and without much hesitation, Pitt called.
Parikka then rolled over 8♦6♦ for a STRAIGHT FLUSH!
"What a river. Horrible river," said Pitt as he flipped J♠J♥ for a set.

With around 60,000 chips already in the middle on a K♠4♠K♥ flop, Georgios Tsouloftas had checked from middle position and Traian Stanciu fired out 15,000. Tsouloftas then raised to 37,000 before Stanciu came back with a rare flop three-bet to 65,000.
"65?" asked Tsouloftas. Once he got confirmation from the dealer, he called.
A 9♦ dropped on the turn and Tsouloftas tapped the table. Stanciu didn't need to think for too long before he announced that he was all in for around 100,000. Tsouloftas tossed all of his time banks into the middle of the table but only needed to use one of them before he finally settled on a fold.
