Jorstad Wisely Checks Behind
Level 5
: Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Espen Jorstad came in with a raise to 10,000 from the hijack and Iraklis Manikaros defended from the big blind.
Manikaros knuckled the table on the 8♥J♣K♠ flop, prompting Jorstad to bet 19,000. Manikaros slid in the call.
The turn came the 6♣ and Manikaros check-called another bet from Jorstad, this time for 40,000.
The 4♣ fell on the river and both players checked. Manikaros turned over the winner with K♣J♦ for a flopped two pair.
