Anthony Spinella raised to 16,000 from under the gun and set off a sequence of shoves from the players behind. Yury Artamonov was in the next seat and he ripped in around 200,000 from middle position. A player in the cutoff shoved for over 300,000, and Sam Trickett in the big blind put in his last chips. Spinella wisely got out of the way.

Trickett had a dream opportunity to triple up but fell behind when the flop came 7♦K♦9♣ as both of his opponents flopped top pair. A 2♦ on the turn did give Trickett another way out with diamonds, but the J♠ river bricked off, meaning the two players in the pot chopped up his chips.
