Yong Doubles Up With Quads
Azamat Lamkov raised to 5,000 under the gun before a player in middle position three-bet to 16,000. The action then folded to Cassandra Yong in the small blind, who four-bet to 40,000.
Lamkov quickly got out of the way, but middle position made the call to a flop of 4♥Q♥7♦.
Yong forewent a continuation-bet, opting for a check instead. Middle position then fired 30,000, which Yong called. The A♥ turn saw the player in middle position size up to 80,000, about half of Yong's remaining chips.
Yong stuck around and called, however, and the Q♠ river subsequently completed the board. Yong checked for a third time, after which middle position completed their triple barrel, putting Yong all-in.
Yong snap-called and tabled Q♦Q♣ for four of a kind. The player in middle position had gone for value with his J♥10♥ for a flush, but it was no good. They saw the pot shipped to Yong, who doubled up after a rough start.
