Khorchidian Correctly Checks Back

Nichan Khorchidian opened from under the gun and got a call from the small blind and Iurii Saiapin in the big blind.
They went to a flop of 3♥K♠J♠ where it checked to Khorchidian, who slid out a bet of 10,000 with one finger. The small blind folded and Saiapin called.
Both checked the 2♥ turn and Saiapin tapped the table again when the J♣ hit the river. Khorchidian thought for a while and eventually checked back.
Saiapin then revealed he rivered trips with J♦5♥, and Khorchidian showed Q♣Q♦.
"I know their cards. I know how they play," said Khorchidian in reference to his check back.
