Akmert Wins a Flip Against Pavlov

Atanas Pavlov opened to 80,000 from the hijack and Erdem Akmert three-bet the button to 135,000. Once the blinds folded, Pavlov shoved his giant stack of over 3,500,000 into the pot, which sent Akmert into the tank.
With just under 1,400,000 in his stack, Akmert burned through a time bank before he collected all of his chips into one pile and gently placed it into the pot.

Pavlov was looking to score a knockout with his jacks but the flop of 3♥Q♠3♦ had other ideas as Akmert paired his queen. An 8♦ on the turn left Pavlov with one more chance to spike a two-outer, but the 5♦ river wasn't it, and he was forced to send over a chunk of his stack to Akmert.
